1. Ocean Protocol
Ocean Protocol is a decentralized data exchange protocol to unlock data for AI, launched in 2017. Through blockchain technology and the $ocean token, Ocean Protocol connects data providers and consumers, allowing data to be shared while guaranteeing traceability, transparency, and trust for all stakeholders involved. It allows data owners to give value to and have control over their data assets without being locked-in to any single marketplace.
THORChain describes itself as a decentralized liquidity network that allows users to swap assets instantly at manipulation-resistant market prices. Swaps are done through permissionless cross-chain liquidity pools that allow users to stake their assets to earn trading fees. Traders can monitor pool prices and earn by arbitraging back to fair market prices. Projects can reportedly stake their treasuries to give their tokens deep liquidity.
3. Reserve Protocol
The Reserve protocol comprises of two tokens: the Reserve token ($RSV — a decentralized stablecoin) and the Reserve Rights token ($RSR — a cryptocurrency used to facilitate the stability of the Reserve token and confers the cryptographic right to purchase excess Reserve tokens as the network grows). The Reserve movement describes itself as a collection of people who believe that cryptocurrencies can do better than fiat money, and that none of the existing options will be able to scale to global use, maintain stable purchasing power, and not be shut down. The team’s goal is to make the most accessible, economically strongest, and most robust-to-attack currency and over time, convince a large portion of the world to replace other currencies with it. It aims to offer a stablecoin for high-inflation countries.
Sentinel is a distributed resources and services marketplace with bandwidth as the first resource and dVPN as the first dApp or Service running on the Sentinel Network. There are additional services like Sentinel dChat aka Sentrix that utilize both storage and bandwidth on the Sentinel Network. The mainnet is expected to launch on Tendermint in 2020.

Enigma is developing a blockchain-based protocol for sharing data by preserving the highest level of privacy. The Enigma network enables cryptographic guarantees of privacy by encrypting data before it leaves enterprise premises. When inputting any data to the network, it is first encrypted client-side. The data is decrypted in a secret contract, a piece of publicly verifiable code at a public, immutable address on the blockchain. With Enigma, enterprises can gain insights about data shared between their partners without direct access to any of the data. It offers secure secret smart contracts and coin-mixing on Cosmos and later on Ethereum.
